Charles Watts has revealed on his own Youtube channel that he feels it is unlikely that any takeover bid for Arsenal will be successful.
Rumours have swirled that Daniel Ek is set to bid for Arsenal in the coming days, as he wants to buy the club off the Kroenkes.
However, Kroenke released a statement last night suggesting that he has no interest in listening to offers for Arsenal.
It has since been reported by the Telegraph that Ek still intends to make a bid for the club and he hasn’t been put off by the announcement.
But Watts insists that Kroenke does indeed have no intention of selling and any deal for Arsenal seems a long way off, after speaking to sources inside the Emirates Stadium.
“My honest opinion after speaking to a lot of people in the last 24 hours, I still think it’s unlikely. I have to admit,” he said.
“Stan Kroenke’s stance hasn’t changed and people at Arsenal don’t expect his stance to have changed. He’s still in it for the long haul and he has no intention of selling.

“Whether that will change when an official bid comes in, that remains to be seen.
“But as far as I’m aware, right now, Kroenke does not want to sell Arsenal.”
The update may come as a further disappointment to Arsenal fans, who have been craving a change at the top.
Arsenal supporters have protested outside the ground against the Kroenkes, but it seems even this hasn’t convinced him that selling up would be an option.
The reports that Ek still intends to bid do at least offer Arsenal fans some encouragement that a shock development could happen.
But as it stands it seems more and more likely that the Kroenkes will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
