Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club’s official Twitter account aimed a subtle dig at Tottenham and the Super League.
Leeds revealed that their fixtures against Spurs and Brighton have been selected by Amazon Prime and BT Sport to be aired next month.
However, Leeds didn’t quite reveal it like that.
Instead of referring to the north Londoners as just Tottenham, Leeds described Ryan Mason’s side as former Super League side Tottenham Hotspur.
Good – we’re glad Spurs are still being mocked for their involvement in the Super League.
Hopefully, the other 14 Premier League clubs take this approach when mentioning any of the so-called top six from now on.

They – or their owners, more like – shouldn’t be allowed to forget what they tried to do to English football.
From where we stand, we want to see more ‘earn it’ shirts and more shady Twitter digs aimed at those who signed up for the elitist Super League scheme.
It must be said, Leeds have carried this fight superbly.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side made Liverpool look foolish on Monday after wearing the ‘earn it’ shirts, before then taking a point off Jürgen Klopp’s men.
The club’s Twitter activity has also been just as good as that performance was – keep it up Leeds, because the fight against greed isn’t over yet.
Let’s see how the Leeds fans on Twitter reacted to their club’s ‘absolutely outstanding’ tweet about Tottenham…
