Neil Warnock has begun his return to management with a bang by taking seven points from a possible nine with Cardiff City.

Cardiff City knew what they were getting by hiring Neil Warnock as the man to replace Paul Trollope and they haven’t been disappointed.

The Bluebirds have picked up seven points from a possible nine with two wins over top eight teams and a draw with one of the league’s top scorers. That rich reign of form has seen them climb out of the bottom three.

Warnock defeated Bristol City during his first game in charge and two of his new signings started, and indeed impressed in front of the Cardiff City Stadium and the Sky Sports cameras.

Sol Bamba and Junior Hoilett were the men to shine on that occasion and they continued their form into the next two games, when Cardiff drew at home to Sheffield Wednesday and defeated Nottingham Forest on the road.

Out of the relegation zone, Warnock can now focus on securing that record-breaking eighth promotion from the Championship and it’s difficult to doubt him.

Warnock and his men have performed wonderfully in the last three games and with some aspects of their play still to work on, who can stop them as they begin to plough up the league table?
