Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas celebrates scoring their first goal
It is fair to say that the 2015/16 Premier League season proved to be a surprising one to say the least.
Leicester City’s title winning campaign took all the headlines, and rightly so, as they broke up the Premier League monopoly in style.
Even the Golden Boot race proved to be a surprising one as Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane fought it out, with the Spurs man eventually winning that battle.
One man however, dominated the assist charts, with Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil finishing just one assist shy of equalling the Premier League record of 20 set by Thierry Henry.
Given his domination in that department, it would be expected that he would also dominate the passing stats for this past season.
That did not prove to be the case though, as that accolade went to Cesc Fabregas who, despite Chelsea’s disastrous campaign, came out on top of the German for the number of accurate passes played.
Here are the other top ten passers of the 2015/6 Premier League season.
