Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Jobi McAnuff has been raving over Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal hammered Tottenham on Sunday, they scored three first-half goals in what was an electric performance in the north London derby, and it was the youngsters who shined brightest.
Indeed, Saka and Smith Rowe both got on the scoresheet and they were a constant thorn in the side of the Spurs defence at the Emirates.
What’s been said?
McAnuff was very impressed by what he’d seen from Arsenal, while he reserved special praise for Saka and Smith Rowe.
“I was actually really impressed with Arsenal. Getting Partey back in was massive for them alongside Xhaka. They played with an energy and an enthusiasm, in particular Saka and Smith Rowe, they were brilliant, they were interchanging and you contrast that with Spurs who were flat and one dimensional,” McAnuff said.

The future is bright
It’s always great for Arsenal when they get one over Spurs, but to do it in this style is even sweeter.
Arsenal didn’t only dismantle Spurs, it was their young stars who ripped Tottenham to shreds, and it may be a sign of things to come in this north London rivalry.
Indeed, while Spurs’ so-called golden generation from the Mauricio Pochettino era are all winding down, Arsenal are on the brink of something special with these Hale End graduates.
Factor in that we’re also going to be seeing the likes of Charlie Patino and Folarin Balogun coming through in the next few years, and the future looks to be incredibly bright at the Emirates.
