Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus will undergo a medical at Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal today before completing his move to the Emirates Stadium.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Jesus will undergo medical tests at Arsenal this morning.

The 25-year-old Brazil international striker is already in London, and an agreement has been reached among all parties over a £45 million transfer deal, according to Romano.

Gabriel Jesus to undergo Arsenal medical

Exciting

In our view, it is very exciting for Arsenal fans that Gabriel Jesus is about to join the Gunners from Manchester City.

The Gunners need(ed) to sign a quality striker, and it is great for the fans that the North London club are bringing in Jesus so early in the summer.

It will give time for Jesus to work with Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta in pre-season and develop an understanding with his new teammates.

Jesus is a versatile forward who can play down the middle or out wide.

In our opinion, Arteta will use Jesus as the main striker upfront.

The 25-year-old has scored 58 goals and created 28 big chances in 159 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
