Neil Cutler has raved about Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on Ben Foster’s YouTube channel and has been impressed by his progress.

The former Aston Villa goalkeeping coach believes that Arsenal and England international goalkeeper Ramsdale has progressed a lot and has outlined his qualities.

Cutler said about Ramsdale: “Very good. I think he has come on in leaps and bounds.

“He is obviously a goalkeeper that has got bundles of ability, he is calm in possession, his shot-stopping is excellent.”

Ramsdale or Pickford for England in Qatar?

Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has been one of the best in his position in the Premier League this season, and it will be interesting to see if he gets the nod ahead of Jordan Pickford for England in Qatar.

England head coach Gareth Southgate is likely to call up the £24 million (The Athletic) Ramsdale for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

Everton star Pickford has been the number one goalkeeper for the Three Lions for a number of years now, but Ramsdale is doing really well and he will push his compatriot hard.

Pickford can be erratic for Everton, but we have to say that the former Sunderland goalkeeper has done exceptionally well for England.

However, Ramsdale is arguably better with the ball at his feet than Ramsdale.
