Some Arsenal fans have praised Kieran Tierney on Twitter for the way he handled Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale today.
Arsenal have got the better of Tottenham 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby this evening.
The Gunners had to come from behind to pick up all three points from the Premier League game, as Spurs ended with 10 men due to the sending-of Erik Lamela in the 76th minute.
Tierney started at left-back and had one of his best games for the Gunners this season, as he handled Spurs winger Bale well.
The 23-year-old former Celtic star did not give Bale much room to work with and was a problem for the Tottenham defence when he went on the attack.
According to WhoScored, the Scotland international left-back took one shot which was not on target, played two key passes, had a pass accuracy of 80.9%, took 71 touches, attempted two dribbles, made six tackles and one interception, and put in seven crosses.
