Don Hutchison has said that Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool should try to sign Manchester City defender Kyle Walker.

The pundit has said on Twitter that if he were Liverpool, then he would try to sign Kyle Walker from Premier League rivals Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

The England international right-back has been linked with moves away from treble-winners City this summer.

90min have reported that Bayern Munich are in talks over signing the 33-year-old £175,000-a-week (SalarySport) England international right-back.

West Ham United have also been linked with Walker.

Should Liverpool bid for Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker?

In our view, Liverpool need not bother trying to sign Kyle Walker from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

We do not think that the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners will be able to convince City or Walker to a transfer.

After all, Liverpool have emerged as City’s main rivals for the Premier League title in recent years, and there is no way that Citizens manager Pep Guardiola will want any of his players to move to Anfield.

And Walker himself may not be too keen on leaving City for Liverpool knowing only too well that the rivalry between the two teams in recent years.

Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in the world who regularly win the Bundesliga and compete for the UEFA Champions League.

It would be a good move for Walker to join the German giants.
