Newcastle United fans have praised the performance of Jonjo Shelvey against Bournemouth yesterday.
Newcastle ran out 4-1 winners at Dean Court last night, as they put in a hugely impressive display.
Shelvey was the Newcastle player who set the tempo for his side, with the English midfielder able to dictate the game.
And although Shelvey’s display did not create any headlines, Newcastle supporters feel that he was every bit as valuable as Allan Saint-Maximin.
Saint-Maximin claimed three assists for Newcastle, as they strolled to success.
The French winger first teed up Dwight Gayle, before Sean Longstaff, Miguel Almiron and Valentino Lazaro all got in on the act.
Newcastle have now pushed up in to 13th place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against West Ham United on Sunday.
