If his training-ground form is anything to go by, Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka will definitely be starting for England in tonight’s Euro 2020 final against Italy at Wembley.
Saka has arguably been one of the Three Lions’ best players throughout the campaign.
On Wednesday, a brilliant cross from the Arsenal academy gem led to England equalising against Denmark en route to booking a spot in the final.
Whether Gareth Southgate starts him against the Italians is still, for some reason, a subject of debate between pundits, though.
But the 19-year-old certainly strengthened his case with some ruthless form in training.
A video has surfaced on Twitter of the Arsenal star – named as the Gunners’ Player of the Season last term – looking absolutely clinical behind the scenes.
For one goal, he made Tyrone Mings of Aston Villa look like a bit of a mug.
And here’s how some England fans reacted to the footage on social media:
No brainer
If we’re honest, Saka has to start.
Despite being still a teenager, nothing has fazed him in his career up to this point and even against the Italians you’d back him to continue treating the match like a friendly.
He has phenomenal maturity and composure for such a young footballer and Southgate needs both of those qualities.
