Carlo Ancelotti has told Stadium Astro that Everton midfielder Tom Davies has improved a great deal this season.
Davies has had his critics at Goodison Park since breaking through into the first-team.
But he has proven his worth in recent months, as an effective shield in front of their defence.
Ancelotti admits that the Everton youngster has technical limitations.
However, the Italian says that he really likes Davies, as he works so hard for his teammates.
“Tom Davies is doing well. You have to consider that he’s really young. He has a lot of experience in the Premier League, but he’s still really young,” Ancelotti said.

“He’s a team player. He likes to do a lot of work for the team.
“Maybe he doesn’t have a lot of technical quality, but his heart his big.
“So he’s done really well this season, and he’s improved a lot. I like team players.”
Davies may not be a permanent starter for Everton yet, but he does seem to have really benefited from having Allan at the club to learn off.
Davies has made giant strides this season, and seems to know his own strengths and weaknesses better than ever before now.
The England youth international has now 22 appearances for the Toffees across all competitions this term, and is likely to play an important covering role between now and the end of the campaign.
