Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has said that attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard could still improve, as quoted in The Times.
Arteta is very happy with the progress and development of former Real Madrid player Odegaard at Arsenal.
However, the Arsenal boss has still outlined areas where the £85,000-a-week (The Mirror) Norway international playmaker can further improve.
Mikel Arteta on Arsenal star Martin Odegaard
Arteta said about Odegaard: “He can be much better. Physically he can improve in many areas. The way he can drive with the ball and eliminate people, his crossing, his passing range, can still be better.
“Defensively he is improving every single time, and [so is] that mentality to go on the pitch and win the game and have that mentality every three days.”

Key figure for the Gunners
In our opinion, Martin Odegaard is one of the best and most important players at Arsenal.
The 24-year-old is one of the first names on the Arsenal teamsheet when he is fit and available.
Odegaard is like a young Mesut Ozil, only he works harder off the ball and is defensively better.
The former Real Madrid player is brilliant on the ball, and his vision is remarkable.
And he has added goals to his game this season.
The Arsenal no. 8 has scored six goals and provided four assists in 14 Premier League appearances for the Gunners so far this season.
Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season.
For Mikel Arteta’s side to be successful in that quest, Odegaard has to stay on top of his game throughout.
