Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano has been discussing Jude Bellingham’s future.
The England international can’t stay out of the headlines at the moment whether it be for his on-field performances of the ongoing transfer speculation around him.
Romano has a new update about the midfielder and despite recent reports stating that Bellingham may stay in Germany for a little while longer, Romano says that it will be almost impossible for Borussia Dortmund to keep the teenager beyond this season.

Bellingham is moving
Romano shared what he knows about Bellingham.
“It will be almost impossible to keep the player in the summer. He’s doing fantastic with England and for Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in the Bundesliga and in the World Cup,” Romano said.
“Bellingham is great everywhere, he’s an amazing player and this is why Borussia Dortmund didn’t want to decide any price before or during the World Cup. The price will be decided after the World Cup and negotiations will happen in 2023.
“Many clubs have had discussions with people close to Bellingham but not yet with Dortmund. These clubs are, for sure Liverpool, they want Bellingham at all costs, Real Madrid are also interested and have had some contacts. Manchester City, he’s big friends with Erling Haaland and City will probably go for a midfielder in the summer, keep an eye on Chelsea because Bellingham and Frenkie De Jong are two players that remain on Chelsea’s list.”
Race of the year
With Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Chelsea all keen, this could be the transfer race of the year.
Where will Bellingham end up? Well, that may all depend on the state of play in terms of Liverpool’s ownership by the time next summer rolls around.
The Reds are currently up for sale, and with recent reports indicating that FSG won’t provide the funds to land a player like Bellingham, their only hope of doing this deal may lie with a potential takeover.
One thing is for sure, this is a situation to keep an eye on.
