Paul Merson has written in SportsKeeda that Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte may not start Son Heung-min against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby this weekend.

The former Arsenal star has noted that Son has not done well for Tottenham when he has started matches so far this season.

The Sky Sports pundit thinks that Conte could decide to leave the £192,000-a-week (SalarySport) South Korea international forward on the bench for the Premier League game between Tottenham and Arsenal on Saturday.

Son will start for Spurs

In our opinion, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte will include Son Heung-min in the starting lineup against Arsenal in the North London derby.

We have no doubt about that.

Yes, Son has not been particularly prolific so far this season, but the former Bayer Leverkusen star banged in a hat-trick after coming on as a substitute against Leicester City in the Premier League before the two-week international break.

Conte will surely not leave Son out of the starting lineup against Arsenal after that performance.
