Liverpool are set to sign Tony Gallacher.

Liverpool are on the verge of signing Falkirk defender Tony Gallacher, according to a report from The Scottish Sun.
Gallacher, 18, is a left-back and would be expected to join up with Liverpool’s under-23 team.
The full-back is an exciting prospect in a position where Liverpool have struggled for quality in recent seasons, he could now end up deputising for compatriot Andrew Robertson.
The money spent will just be a tiny fraction of the £142 million Liverpool received from Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.

One day perhaps Gallacher will become a target for the La Liga giants – as he has already been on their radar.
Gallacher admitted he was stunned when he learned of their interest a year ago, and his form struggled as a result.
He told the Daily Record: “The most surreal one was the link to Barcelona. My pal texted me it at first and I thought he was kidding.
“But more and more stuff was being sent to me and I was trying to figure out if it was true or not. My agent had to calm me down a bit and peel me off the walls.
“It was good to know clubs were looking at me. But at the same time it was pressurising.”
Now he appears to have got his move, and Liverpool will do everything they can to stop him being poached one day by the Spanish giants.
