Tottenham are reportedly keen on signing Jack Grealish.

One thing is for certain if Tottenham Hotspur sign Jack Grealish, and that is Tim Sherwood popping up on television or radio to talk about his crucial role in developing the youngster.
Sherwood repeatedly taking credit for Harry Kane’s emergence at Tottenham has crossed the line into parody at this point, even though he has legitimate reason to be proud.
To save Sherwood the time, we have taken a look at his previous comments on the Aston Villa midfielder, who he helped establish as a first team player.

He said: “I wouldn’t want to sell Jack Grealish for £60m today, put it that way. I know what he could possibly be.”
Speaking to BT Sport, reported by The42, Sherwood said: “He could be right up there amongst the best of them. The ball is a friend of his. The bigger the stage, the better he plays. I’ve known about him for a while.”

He said: “He’s a superb talent for this football club, I want to help him to fulfil his potential which is immense.”
If Grealish can follow the Harry Kane path of getting his lucky break under Sherwood, and becoming a world beater under Mauricio Pochettino, then Tottenham’s investment whatever they pay, will quickly start looking like a bargain.
