Tottenham Hotspur target Joe Rodon put in a wonderful performance for Wales last night, as they beat Bulgaria 1-0.
Rodon, who the Times say wants to move to Spurs, was selected to start in the heart of Wales’ defence.
And the centre-back did not seem at all distracted by the rumours of a big move.
Rodon was rock solid and showed great composure in possession, as his country kept a clean-sheet.
The 22-year-old’s display earned him widespread praise on social media website, Twitter, and here is some of the best reaction.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with the Swansea defender of late, and they will surely have been impressed by his display last night.
Spurs are running out of time to get the deal over the line, though, as the domestic transfer deadline closes tomorrow.
Football London report that Spurs and Swansea’s are a long way apart from agreeing a fee currently, but the Welsh side’s asking price is only likely to go up if he keeps performing to last night’s standard.
