Michael Dawson has raved about Arsenal striker and reported Tottenham Hotspur summer transfer target Gabriel Jesus on Sky Sports News (12:08pm, October 15, 2022).
The former Tottenham defender has been impressed by how well Jesus has done for Arsenal since his move from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
The Sky Sports pundit believes that Jesus has made players around him at Arsenal better.
The Gunners signed the Brazil international striker from defending Premier League champions City in the summer of 2022.
Tottenham were also keen on securing the services of Jesus in the summer transfer window.
TuttoJuve reported in June 2022 that Tottenham made a bid of €47 million (£40.91 million) for the 25-year-old striker.

Dawson said about Jesus: “Wow, he has been immense since he has come in, and he is getting the best of players around him. He is so positive, Jesus.”
Immediate impact
Gabriel Jesus has made an immediate impact at Arsenal and is one of the best players in manager Mikel Arteta’s team.
The Brazil international striker has scored five goals and given three assists in nine Premier League matches, and has played 43 minutes in the UEFA Europa League for the Gunners so far this campaign.
Jesus would have been a brilliant signing for Tottenham, although you have to ask whether he would be playing as a number 9 like he is doing at Arsenal now because of the presence of Harry Kane in Antonio Conte’s team.
