A bit of a Tottenham connection is brewing over at Bournemouth, with Jonathan Woodgate, Harry Redknapp and Cameron Carter-Vickers all now trying to help the recently-relegated side get back on its feet.

Two are legends of the club, whilst Tottenham loanee Carter-Vickers starred for the Championship side as they knocked Premier League outfit, Burnley, from the FA Cup on Tuesday night.

This comes only days after Woodgate, who is in temporary charge of Bournemouth after they sacked Jason Tindall, called upon Redknapp to help him out for a small period (talkSPORT).

Well, that call seemed to have worked, as the Cherries progressed through to the quarter-final stages of the FA Cup yesterday and their fans were seriously impressed with Carter-Vickers’ performance.

The 23-year-old started at the back for his side, and played the entire match, as he kept the likes of Jay Rodriguez, Ashley Barnes and Matej Vydra from getting on the scoresheet.

It seems as though Carter-Vickers is impressing the Bournemouth supporters after his move to the South Coast club in the summer.

The American’s contract at Spurs is due to expire in the summer and it doesn’t seem like those in the North London boardroom will renew his talents.

But potentially earning promotion with the Cherries, possibly with Woodgate at the helm, will perhaps help him find a permanent home at the end of the campaign.

Until then, Carter-Vickers is producing top-quality performances for Bournemouth, as their supporters can testify below:
