Nottingham Forest fans on Twitter are excited at the prospect of signing Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp.

The Standard has claimed that Spurs boss, Jose Mourinho, has agreed to loan out the youngster, with the likes of Southampton, Burnley, Fulham and Forest all keen on his services.

The problem for Forest is that two of the above clubs are in the Premier League and Fulham, who are currently in the Championship play-offs, could be joining them in England’s top-flight next term.

Therefore, it would make it difficult for the Midlands-based side to land the signature of the Spurs academy product if those clubs come knocking.

But that hasn’t stopped Forest from getting excited at the prospect of signing Skipp, who they see as a top talent from the Premier League.

Skipp featured more under Mauricio Pochettino than Mourinho himself, but the tidy midfielder still has Premier League and Champions League experience under his belt.

Forest missed out on a playoff spot during the recently concluded campaign after an almighty capitulation on the last day of the season.
