Everton’s Jordan Pickford is one of the goalkeepers rivalling the Liverpool linked Stoke City man to be England’s number one this summer.

Stoke City and Liverpool supporters are reacting on Twitter to Jack Butland’s performance against West Ham United on Monday.
The Stoke goalkeeper – who has been linked with a £40 million move to Liverpool this summer (Daily Mirror) – conceded a late equaliser to Hammers striker Andy Carroll, as his side were denied three important points in their quest for survival.
And while Butland – who has made the most saves of any Premier League goalkeeper – was not culpable for West Ham’s goal, his latest showing left a lot to be desired in the eyes of Potters and Reds fans.

Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter, starting with those in the Stoke camp…
And this is the Liverpool view…
Butland is battling Everton’s Jordan Pickford, Burnley’s Tom Pope and West Ham’s Joe Hart – who has also faced flack, after his involvement in Peter Crouch’s goal for Stoke – to be England’s number one at this summer’s World Cup.
Would Butland be a good addition for Liverpool?
