West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports tweeted that Everton’s Jordan Pickford would miss all three of England’s games this month.
Everton confirmed on their official website that the £30 million man has sustained an injury to his oblique abdominal muscle.
Pickford will now miss England’s World Cup qualifiers against San Marino, Albania and Poland.
As a result, West Brom fans were quick to stick Sam Johnstone’s name in the frame when replying to the tweet from Sky Sports.
The Baggies fans clearly feel their No.1 has been good enough for Gareth Southgate this season.

Johnstone has, admittedly, conceded a league-high 55 goals in 28 games.
However, he has still made some eye-catching saves and has arguably been West Brom’s Player of the Season.
Interestingly, Sky Sports believe that the 27-year-old is being considered by Southgate, as the pair worked together in England’s Under-21 set-up once upon a time.

Sky Sports add that the Three Lions boss is a keen admirer of the former Manchester United shot-stopper.
In our view, Johnstone does deserve a chance. However, Nick Pope and Dean Henderson do too, so Southgate has a real headache in the goalkeeping department.
Let’s see what the West Brom fans on Twitter have been saying…
