Manchester City supporters have reacted on Twitter to Arsenal talent Martin Odegaard praising Kevin de Bruyne.
The on-loan Arsenal star stated that De Bruyne’s passing is ‘amazing’ and he is ‘one of my favourite’ players, as he told the Premier League’s official YouTube channel.
With a lot of creative talent in the Premier League, it could be argued that De Bruyne is the standout.
And Man City fans are loving the fact that Arsenal’s rising star recognises ball when he sees one in Belgium’s quick-thinker.
Odegaard himself has been in stunning form for Arsenal of late, and if the Gunners can get his name up with the likes of De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes and Jack Grealish then it would be something special.
Of course, he would have to stay beyond his loan spell this season, but all eyes will be on Real Madrid to see what move they make or don’t make.
But Odegaard isn’t the only Arsenal player who appreciates De Bruyne, with Emile Smith Rowe, as you would have heard a million times, an admirer and dubbed the ‘Croydon De Bruyne’.
If you haven’t heard that before then Martin Tyler will probably remind you the next time Smith Rowe takes to the field.
