Some Newcastle United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
According to TuttoJuve, Newcastle are interested in signing former Arsenal midfielder Ramsey from Italian and European giants Juventus in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the Italian news outlet that Juventus will want €25 million (£22.31 million) as transfer fee for the 29-year-old midfielder.
Newcastle are going through a potential takeover process at the moment, with The Times reporting once it goes through, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) will own 80% of the Magpies, Amanda Staveley and her husband Mehrdad Ghodoussi will have a 10% share in the club, and the Reuben brothers – Simon and David – will have a 10% stake as well.
Ramsey moved to Juventus only last summer on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal at the end of last season.
The Wales international is a very dynamic footballer who would make Newcastle a better team and would enhance their quality in the middle of the park.
