Some Tottenham Hotspur fans on social media have been reacting after they were linked with a move for Houssem Aouar.
The French midfielder is reportedly on the market this summer, and according to The Mirror, Tottenham are ready to make a move for him.
Aouar has been lighting up Ligue 1 for a few seasons now, and while he has been linked with a move to north London in the past, it has long been thought that Arsenal were his biggest admirers.
However, with the Gunners seemingly set to sign Martin Odegaard, Aouar is no longer a priority, and that may allow Spurs to swoop.
This would certainly be an interesting signing for Tottenham, especially when you consider that Aouar had a solid partnership with Tanguy Ndombele during both players’ time at Lyon.
