Arsenal will be in the market for a new right back this summer – but don’t expect Achraf Hakimi to be joining.
Hector Bellerin’s time with Arsenal appears to be coming towards its end, whilst Cedric Soares and Ainsley Maitland-Niles seemingly won’t be in favour there.
Calum Chambers is another option, but Mikel Arteta and Edu need to be prioritising a new right back this summer.
AS reported last month that Arsenal want to sign Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi, with Arteta personally approving the move.
Hakimi cost Inter £36million in a big move from Real Madrid last summer, so he certainly wouldn’t come cheap.
The Moroccan ace has hit seven goals and nine assists this season, helping fire Inter to the Serie A title – but their financial woes mean nobody is safe.

Arsenal may well be hoping to take advantage, but as Inter celebrated the title with a 5-1 win over Udinese on Sunday, Hakimi made his allegiance clear.
As tweeted by Fabrizio Romano, Hakimi was seen pointing to the Inter badge and down at the San Siro turf, suggesting that Inter is his home and he’s going nowhere.
Romano thinks the message is ‘clear’ and that Hakimi wants to stay, meaning Arsenal may need to look elsewhere.
