Tottenham are preparing for Europa League action this week, and as ever, a game in the cup may lead to a little bit of squad rotation.
We’ve seen plenty of young players handed chances in cup competitions this term, and it seems as though there could be more opportunities in the pipeline as four youth players were spotted training with Spurs’ first-team ahead of their game against Wolfsberger.
Dane Scarlett, Jamie Bowden, Dennis Cirkin and Marcel Lavinier have been snapped working with the senior squad ahead of Thursday’s clash.

This is a very interesting development to say the least.
All four of these young men are a part of Spurs’ Europa League squad, so we have to now ponder whether or not we’ll see them playing this week.
Mourinho does like to rotate in this competition, and we’ve already seen Scarlett given a chance, so Bowden, Cirkin and Lavinier may be in line for a big opportunity here.
Perhaps the most interesting player in this group is Dennis Cirkin, a player Jose Mourinho has spoken very highly of in the past.
Indeed, Mourinho told Football London in July 2020 that he likes Cirkin ‘very, very much’ and that the teenager ‘works really hard’.
Hopefully, we get to see some of these young players strut their stuff in Europe this week.
