Bayern Munich have reportedly launched an official bid to sign Ajax talent Ryan Gravenberch, with Tottenham said to be interested in the 19-year-old prospect.
Fabrizio Romano took to Twitter to confirm that the Bavarian giants have made an offer of around €25m (£20m) for the Netherlands international, with Ajax eager to receive more for their superstar midfielder.

As per the Italian journalist, negotiations have only just started between Bayern and Ajax for Gravenberch, but with the teenager’s contract expiring in 2023, there’s a good chance that a middle ground could be found between the two clubs to complete a deal.
Tottenham have been linked with Gravenberch in recent months as have Premier League rivals Liverpool, yet following this update, it appears that Bayern will be the side that wins the race for the exciting Ajax talent.
As reported by De Telegraaf, Ajax could see Gravenberch for €35m (£29m), yet given Bayern’s mastery of the transfer window and their negotiation tactics for new signings, it wouldn’t be much of a shock if the Bundesliga champions landed the midfielder for a cheaper fee.
Indeed, Gravenberch is a player who would be welcome at many top clubs around Europe this summer, yet with Bayern already making moves to sign the midfielder three months before the transfer window even opens, the likes of Tottenham could be left in the dust for the Dutchman.
Gravenberch looks set for Bayern move despite Tottenham’s interest

Tottenham would have been an appealing move for Gravenberch given the stature of the Premier League and the opportunity to work under Antonio Conte, yet following this latest update, Bayern look all but set to sign the 19-year-old this summer.
And the German side have conducted themselves well in this transfer episode, with Bayern moving at pace to sign Gravenberch before the opening of the summer window, and at the way things are going, Munich could have a new star midfielder on their books sooner rather than later.
