Fabrizio Romano has told CaughtOffSide that reported Arsenal target Alexis Mac Allister could leave Brighton and Hove Albion.
Arsenal are among the clubs who have been linked with Alexis Mac Allister, who won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina.
The Daily Star reported over the weekend that Arsenal will join the race for the 24-year-old midfielder in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are also keen on the Brighton star.
Italian journalist Romano has now claimed that he has been told that there is a chance that Mac Allister could leave, saying that the midfielder would love to move to a big club in the summer transfer window.
Romano said: “At the moment City are in the Bellingham race, nothing to report on Alexis Mac Allister.
“I’m told he has chances to leave in the summer as he’d love a top club move, but Brighton guarantee they’ve not fixed a price tag yet and I guess it’s going to be another big fight to sign Brighton star in the summer.”
