Manchester City are ready to go big on Erling Haaland this summer, with the reigning Premier League champions serious about signing the Borussia Dortmund superstar.
That is according to Fabrizio Romano, who speaking on his Twitch channel last night mentioned that he has heard of City’s intention to go all-out on Haaland this summer, with the striker set to be on the move at the end of this season.
The Norwegian international is being chased by every big club in Europe ahead of the transfer window, with the likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich just a handful of teams linked with Haaland in recent weeks.
However, through all the rumours and speculation, City remain the favourites to sign the attacker, with Pep Guardiola’s side eager to sign a centre-forward this summer to add to the January arrival of Julian Alvarez, who is back on loan with River Plate.
Indeed, Haaland’s future will be one of the most reported and followed stories of the summer window, yet according to Romano, City are putting all their eggs into one basket to sign the striker this summer.
Romano said via his Twitch channel: “I’ve been told Manchester City are serious on Erling Haaland, and they are willing to throw a serious amount of money to sign him this summer.”
Haaland seems destined for City move with each new update

A lot of things can happen between now and the opening of the summer window, yet Haaland heading to City seems to grow stronger every day, with the striker’s links to the club likely to be a winning factor in the transfer market.
With City looking to sign a replacement for Sergio Aguero one year after his departure, Haaland is the ideal player to take over the mantle, and for Guardiola, he will have a perfect striker to lead the attack in what could be a dream signing for the club.
