Speaking on The Athletic’s YouTube channel, Tottenham Hotspur journalist Jack Pitt-Brooke has claimed that Harry Kane is still totally committed to playing under Jose Mourinho.

The striker has been enjoying one of the best seasons of his career, and while the club seem to be going through a rough patch, on an individual note, he’s been brilliant.

Perhaps understandably, there have been reports about a squad mutiny at Spurs, but Pitt-Brooke claims that Kane isn’t one of the players that has an issue with Mourinho.

“Yeah this is a really important point that I’m delighted to be able to clear up. There’s not been a falling out between Kane and Mourinho just as there has not been a falling out between Kane and Daniel Levy,” Pitt-Brooke said.

“There are some Tottenham players who don’t like Mourinho and aren’t enjoying this season. Kane is not one of the players who does not like Mourinho, Kane, I’m told, would run through a brick wall for Jose Mourinho.”

This isn’t all that surprising to hear, even if Mourinho has been getting on the wrong side of some of his players.

If any player has flourished under the former Chelsea boss, it’s Kane. He’s added a lot to his game since Mourinho’s appointment and he seems to be playing his best football at the moment.

Sadly, that hasn’t coincided with results for Spurs, who now look like they could finish mid-table after being touted as title contenders at the beginning of the season.
