Michael Bridge told Sky Sports that Harry Kane will get ‘the most brilliant ovation’ from Tottenham Hotspur supporters when he next plays a home game.
The England striker confirmed on Twitter on Wednesday that he will be staying at Spurs after weeks and weeks of speculation about his future.
It now puts an end to this transfer saga, with Manchester City and Pep Guardiola unable to get their man this summer.
Tottenham are in Europa Conference League action on Thursday night, which Kane could feature in.
If he doesn’t play in that game then he will certainly face off against Watford at the weekend – both are home ties.
Sky reporter and Tottenham fan, Bridge, made it clear that he will be lauded by his supporters.
