One Arsenal supporter has taken to Twitter to share what William Saliba has personally sent him on Instagram.

Arsenal spent £27 million on signing Saliba from France during the summer of 2019.

But despite the fact that he joined two-and-a-half years ago, the 20-year-old has never made a competitive appearance for the Gunners’ senior team.

However, he remains a popular figure among supporters of the Emirates Stadium club – and his popularity might increase further on the back of his latest gesture.

The Marseille loanee has direct messaged a Saliba-mad Arsenal fan and offered to send him a shirt.

Classy gesture

Indeed, it’s obviously a brilliant gesture by the Gunners’ youngster, it certainly has to be said.

How Arsenal supporters would absolutely love to see their big-money investment make waves in their senior squad in the future.

It’s no secret that Mikel Arteta clearly has reservations about the towering defender, evident by the fact he’s been loaned twice inside 12 months.

However, Saliba’s potential is undeniable because, remember, this is a player who shackled Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain earlier in this campaign.

Anybody who can stand toe-to-toe with the PSG attacker and come out on top has to be considered a massive talent and it’ll be fascinating to see whether he can succeed under Arteta long term.
