Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after watching some 9-second footage of Junior Firpo going up against Kylian Mbappe.
What’s the story?
Well, The Athletic believe the left-back is on the verge of signing for Leeds.
A £12.8 million deal has been agreed with the financially periled Barcelona, for a player they spent £27.5 million on – what a bargain for Leeds.
Firpo’s arrival is set to be announced sometime this week, if not today.
Amid the talk about his imminent arrival, one Twitter user found a video of the 24-year-old up against one of Europe’s best players, Mbappe.
What does the footage show?
Well, it’s only a short clip, but it seems to have won over some Leeds fans.
The footage shows Mbappe trying to escape the attention of Firpo in a Champions League meeting between Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain.
Interestingly, the Frenchman seems to get frustrated, and pulls Firpo’s shirt.
The soon-to-be Leeds man wasn’t having any of that, however, and shoves Mbappe to the ground after the forward looks set to confront him.
Judging by the reaction below, the Leeds fans loved what they saw.
