Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho feels that everyone is starting to realise with a talent Son Heung-Min is now, as per his comments to the club’s official Youtube channel.
Son scored his 100th goal for Tottenham at the weekend, as they picked up a 3-0 win over Leeds United.
The £22 million South Korean international (Guardian) showed his finishing prowess once again, as he burst to the front post and latched on to a cross from Harry Kane.
And Mourinho feels that now Son is starting to collect so many accolades he is finally getting the attention he deserves.
“I’m very happy for him,” Mourinho said. “I’m very happy that now people realise the player he is. We all have to explain what a person he is too.
“But to get this Puskas award, to get 100 goals for Tottenham, to be in the top three scorers in the Premier League without penalties, I’m so happy for Sonny.”
Son has been in red hot form for Tottenham this term, with his link-up with Harry Kane causing huge problems for opposition sides.

Spurs may well be set to reward Son for his fine showings in the near future, as the Athletic report that he the North London side are working on a contract extension.
Son should land a significant pay rise with his new deal, and if he does commit his future to Spurs it would be huge news for Mourinho’s men.
Son has become one of the first names on the team sheet at Tottenham now, and is widely recognised as one of the most talented forwards in European football.
