Reported Liverpool target Arnaut Danjuma has stated that he is ‘really happy’ at Villarreal and ‘this is only the beginning’ of his journey, as he told the club’s official Twitter account.
Dutch outlet Voetbal International have claimed that Liverpool are big admirers of the £21 million winger, who moved to Spain from Bournemouth in the summer.
A stylish wide player, who likes to cut inside and power towards goal, it’s understandable why the Reds are looking at his talents.
Sadio Mane, Mo Salah and Diogo Jota are prime examples of what Jurgen Klopp can do with a wide players, who have goalscoring abilities and hunger that is infectious.
But the Holland international has probably put a dampener on the above rumours because he is clearly enjoying life at his new club.
“I feel very good here,” said Danjuma. “I need to give massive thanks to Unai Emery. The coach is really busy with me in training and he really helps me perform for the team.
“I came as a new player. The club trusted me. The president trusted me. I came here and integrated very good with the coach and the team. My teammates trust me, so I feel really good here. I am really happy to be here.
“I am very eager, very hungry and very determined to perform for the club. So, for me, this is only the beginning.”

Danjuma does fit the bill in regards to the type of player Klopp would push for and transform.
The German doesn’t push for superstar players who are already right at the top of their game, but someone trying to get to the top.
He did that with Mane, when he purchased him from Southampton and he is doing the same with Jota.
If Danjuma does make the switch to Merseyside, then he would be a welcome addition, because the free-scoring Reds could so with more depth in their forward areas.
