
Arsenal supporters were left annoyed at the fact that Illan Meslier wasn’t sent off as Leeds fell to a 4-2 defeat at the Emirates on Sunday.
For a number of weeks now, Arsenal have seen VAR decisions go against them, most notably against Wolves when David Luiz was sent off.
When Meslier brought down Bukayo Saka on Sunday, a penalty was awarded to Arsenal, but no card was handed out to the Leeds man.
The Arsenal fans felt that he should have been given his marching orders, as they compared that incident to previous situations they have been involved in during this campaign.
It was actually a game where two penalties were initially awarded, both on Saka, with the first overturned after VAR urged Stuart Attwell to look at his monitor.
And whilst Arenal supporters expressed their annoyance at the decision that they seemingly felt fell in Leeds’ favour on Sunday, it could have been a lot different.

Leeds fans will have complaints of their own because, at 4-2, there was a penalty shout on Patrick Bamford, only for the calls to be waved away.
