West Ham United striker Michail Antonio has shared the glowing comments Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart gave of Tottenham boss, Ange Postecoglou.
Celtic’s number one, who moved to Parkhead from Tottenham in 2021, told Michail Antonio that the Treble-winning coach is ‘the best manager’ he has played under, as he told The Footballer’s Football Podcast.
Given that Joe Hart has been coached by the likes of Roberto Mancini, Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho, then that’s high, high praise for Ange Postecoglou.
In the Premier League, things are going well for the Spurs boss because they are unbeaten in three games and their style of play has been transformed.
But they did hit a brick wall on Tuesday when they were booted out of the EFL Cup after losing a penalty shootout to Fulham.
Either way, the belief in Postecoglou, from the Spurs fans, is still going to be strong, with Antonio sharing his thoughts.

“I am rating him,” said Antonio. “The football that they are playing, they are playing free-flowing football and it’s decent.
“I spoke to Joe Hart. He said that Postecoglou was ‘the best manager’ he played under, like tactically and everything. Joe Hart has played under some decent managers.”

Postecoglou has brought life to Spurs
Under previous managers, the Spurs faithful have had to watch defensive-minded football and the team playing with the handbrake on.
But, within months of Postecoglou being in the building, you can see the difference, the freedom and enjoyment the team are playing with.
It’s now a case of continuing all of that as they hit roadblocks, such as the defeat to Fulham, because they will need to pick themselves up for the trip to Burnley at the weekend.
