Paul Merson has written in SportsKeeda that he is not convinced by new Tottenham Hotspur summer signing Richarlison, who joined Antonio Conte’s side from Everton.
Earlier this month, Tottenham announced the signing of Richarlison from Premier League rivals Everton.
Spurs have reportedly paid the Toffees an initial transfer fee of £50 million for the Brazil international forward.
Former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit Merson has said that he is not sure about Richarlison, adding that he would play Dejan Kulusevski ahead of him in the starting lineup.
Paul Merson on Tottenham Hotspur target Richarlison
Merson wrote in SportsKeeda: “Tottenham have had a very good transfer window so far. I’m not too sure about Richarlison, and I’d play Kulusevski ahead of him.
“They’re in the Champions League and have more games to play this season, so in that sense, Richarlison ticks a box.”

Good signing for Spurs
In our view, Richarlison is a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window and will give head coach Antonio Conte another valuable option in attack.
The 25-year-old is a versatile attacking player who can play across the front-line.
The Brazilian is only 25, which means that he will grow and develop as a footballer in the coming years.
Moreover, Tottenham will have UEFA Champions League football next season, and Richarlison will be needed by the North London club.
Richarlison has scored 48 goals and created 32 big chances in 173 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
