Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has told The Guardian that he can get even better.

Kane has said that although he has evolved as a player this season by playing in a more creative role instead of just being a goalscorer, the England international is not the finished article.

Kane told The Guardian: “I’m 27 now, I’ve had a lot of experience in the game. I’ve had a lot of time to learn and adapt and find things that work, things that don’t.

“You’re probably seeing this season an evolution of that, and I probably feel at my best mentally in terms of where my game’s at: being confident on the pitch and scoring goals, assisting goals, defending. I always feel like I can have an impact on the game.

“So yeah, I’m definitely at that stage in my career. I’m always someone who has said I can improve year in, year out, and that’s what I feel like I’ve done. I’m not the finished article by any means but I’m in a very good place at the moment.”

Exciting for Tottenham Hotspur fans

Kane is 27 now and is one of the best strikers in the world. This season the England international has shown another side of his game, creating chances, providing assists and helping out a lot defensively.

According to WhoScored, the Englishman has scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in the Premier League and scored three goals and gave two assists in the Europa League for Spurs this season.

It is very exciting and encouraging for Tottenham fans that Kane thinks that he can get even better.

It is also scary for opposition defenders. Kane can be unstoppable on his day and a real handful for any opponents, and if he gets better, then it would make life for the opposition team simply unbearable.
