Kevin Campbell has made it clear that he’s ‘not having’ Tottenham Hotspur signing Richarlison from Everton and thinks he will become a transfer ‘flop’, as he told the Highbury Squad.
The former Everton striker added that when Richarlison was at Goodison Park he ‘loved’ the player, but he doesn’t think he will now earn the game time at Spur and, as a result, struggle.
Tottenham paid the Toffees £60 million for Richarlison’s service this summer (Sky Sports) and he is set to start out as a back-up option under Antonio Conte.

There’s no way the 25-year-old gets ahead of Son Heung-min or Harry Kane, whilst Dejan Kulusevski is ahead of him because he has impressed since moving to the club in January.
Either way, when discussing what signings might not work this summer, Campbell shared his thoughts on Richarlison’s move to Tottenham.
“Speaking of weird, Richarlison going to Tottenham,” said Campbell. “I am not having that!
“I loved Richarlison at Everton, but him going to that lot, I am not having it. I’m with Dan (that Richarlison will flop). I can’t see him getting in the team, to be honest.
“I think just because he’s not going to be able to force his way fully into the side, then he’s going to be classed as a flop.”

RICHARLISON’S £60M TRANSFER FEE
In previous years, Daniel Levy hasn’t been known to splash such cash on a player that will, from the get-go, act as a back-up option.
It’s a bold move from the English businessman and one that probably has the Spurs fans grinning with glee.
Conte proved his worth by securing Champions League football last season, and with Spurs desperate for a trophy, this is Levy showing how much he trusts the man in his dugout.
That £60 million fee on Richarlison’s head is something that will continually get thrown at him, especially if he struggles to make a name for himself in north London.
But with Conte the man coaching him, then he is known to eek the best out of the player and he will probably do it with Richarlison.
