Speaking on the Super Six Podcast, Stuart Dallas has opened up and given his thoughts on Leeds United under Massimo Cellino.
The Northern Irishman is one of the Whites’ longest serving players, and he’s seen a lot during his time at Elland Road.
Of course, Dallas signed when Cellino was still in charge at Elland Road, and he’s not held back when talking about the problems Leeds had under the enigmatic Italian.
“I thought, wow this is huge. This is great for me, and coming into the club, looking back on it now, the club was a mess when I signed and so much has happened since then,” Dallas said.
“You know, Massimo Cellino was the owner then and I got on really well with him. I’m not going to tell any lies and say that I didn’t, but the change from then has been incredible since Andrea has come into the club it’s been mad really.
“Only now looking back on it do you realise, but when I joined the club, you know what it’s like you say it’s a big club and a special group, but looking back on it now it was a mess really.”

Things can change so quickly in football, and perhaps no club’s fortunes have changed as much as Leeds’ in recent years.
Andrea Radrizzani finally got the club back into a working order off the pitch, while Marcelo Bielsa has revolutionised the team on the pitch.
Not many players remain from the Cellino era, but Dallas has been a constant in the squad throughout this time, and he’s certainly noticed.
