West Ham striker Michail Antonio has told ITV’s Football Podcast that he has been left ‘surprised’ by how Harry Kane has changed his game for Tottenham.
The deadly sharpshooter, who has previously been likened to Alan Shearer, can now add pin-point precision passer to his name, which has seen his game now likened to a Kevin de Bruyne.
Kane tops the assists charts in the Premier League this season after adding to his tally on Monday night when he combined with his partner in crime Heung-Min Son against Burnley.
Antonio has been on the other end of Kane’s destructive ways in the attacking third, as he shared his thoughts on the Tottenham man’s game and what it’s like coming up against him.
“Yes, I am not going to lie,” said Antonio. “I am quite surprised because with Harry Kane when you see him growing up throughout his career, you see him at the end of everything.
“You could even say that he was slightly greedy. He gets in front of goal and he’s shooting. No matter what. If someone’s there for an open goal for them, he goes for goal for himself.
“Now to see him being the assist man that he is right now, I think he has got six assists or something crazy, I am surprised by it.
“The thing is even against us, he’s popped up and taken the ball off the defender. He’s putting it in. Feeding beautiful balls in. So, he is coming on unbelievably.”

Kane could label himself as the ‘complete striker’ at this moment in time because he isn’t just two players in one but potentially three.
Add a vibrant, direct and technically gifted Heung-Min Son to the mix then it results in opposition defenders having sleepless nights.
What is more remarkable is that a certain Gareth Bale hasn’t even entered the fray, and when he does, then Jose Mourinho may well have the best front three in the Premier League at his disposal.
