Ezgjan Alioski has broken his silence following his departure from Leeds United with a video posted to his official Twitter account.

In a short clip, the North Macedonia international thanked the fans for the four years he spent at Elland Road. As well as Marcelo Bielsa, Victor Orta and Andrea Radrizzani for bringing him to the club in the first place.

The defender joined from Lugano in 2017 and went on to make 170 appearances for the Yorkshire club.

Alioski was key to Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League as well as their 10th place finish in the division last season.

But with his contract expiring, Alioski made the decision to leave Leeds this summer. As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, the defender is close to joining Saudi Arabia side Al-Ahli.

Indeed, the former Swiss Super League star was a fan favourite at Elland Road for his impressive performances and explosive personality both on and off the pitch.
