Some Liverpool fans on social media have been reacting after Saul Niguez was linked with a loan move to Chelsea.
The Spanish midfielder has long been linked with a move to Anfield, but for one reason or another, the Merseyside club have been unable to strike a deal.
Chelsea now seem to be set to swoop, and the Anfield faithful aren’t happy with the prospect of Saul heading to west London.
Liverpool fans clearly wanted to have Saul at Anfield, and the fact that he could be headed to a direct rival has rubbed some supporters up the wrong way.
There is a feeling amongst some supporters that the Reds still need a midfielder after Georginio Wijnaldum, and while they may still get someone in, it seems as though it won’t be the Atletico Madrid man.
Chelsea would certainly be getting a very talented player if they manage to pull this one off.
