Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka has told The Mirror that he is learning from reported Gunners target Raheem Sterling and from Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Saka seems thrilled that he is training with Manchester City attacking midfielder Sterling and Kane, as well as with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford now.

The 19-year-old winger is part of the England squad for the Euro 2020 finals.

Raheem Sterling rumour

Interestingly, Sterling has been linked with a move to Arsenal.

The Daily Mail reported last month that City are willing to sell the 26-year-old, and that Arsenal want to sign him.

What’s been said

Saka told The Mirror: “In training, the attackers I’m playing with are the attackers I used to watch at home – Marcus Rashford, Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane are the players I watched when I was in the England youth team.

“When we I was in the England youth team, we would come over and watch the first team training or watch them on YouTube. Now, I’m learning different things from them, from their movement, from their passing.”

Encouraging

Saka seems to be a fan of Sterling.

The youngster, who can also play as a left-back and in midfield, is happy to learn from the former Liverpool star.

Sterling has developed a lot since he moved to City from Liverpool.

The England international, who can also play as a winger, has improved his finishing under manager Pep Guardiola.

The attacker scored 10 goals in the Premier League this past season, while in 2019-20 he scored 20 and found the back of the net 17 times in 2018-19.

Saka would learn a lot from Sterling by playing with him on a regular basis for Arsenal… if the City attacker joins the Gunners.
