Reported Leeds United target Emi Martinez has told Marca that 10 clubs want sign him this summer.
The Sun have reported how Leeds are keen to land the Argentine, who could depart Arsenal if he is not promised to be given first-team football next season.
But Martinez has suggested that Leeds’ task of landing him will not be an easy one, if they are interested, as so many clubs want to take him.
“Yes, I am in the sights of 10 teams in Europe,” Martinez said.
“But I can’t say who those clubs are, because it’s nothing concrete. I still do not have the clear situation with Arsenal, when I have it when I return I will make the best decision for my career.”
It is no surprise that Martinez is in demand, as his form for Arsenal has been so strong.
The 27-year-old has really caught the eye, after stepping in for the injured Bernd Leno.
Martinez helped Arsenal win the FA Cup, and if he did move to Leeds he would surely immediately be instated as first-choice.
Leeds currently have Kiko Casilla and Illan Meslier battling it out for a spot between the sticks, but Marcelo Bielsa seemingly wants to find a new number one before the Premier League campaign starts.
