Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter in delight after Virgil van Dijk posted a 16-second video of himself at the AXA Training Centre.
The colossal Dutchman’s footage showed him running up and down on the grass at Liverpool’s training ground – it was great to see.
Obviously, we won’t know how strong Van Dijk’s knee is until the likes of Marcus Rashford and Heung-min Son are making him twist and turn on it.
However, judging by the footage, he seems comfortable when jogging, and doesn’t seem to have any sort of limp or anything like that.
Hopefully, the £75 million man will be able to join first-team training soon, where he can really see if that knee is ready for Premier League action again.
We’re crossing our fingers that it is.
The game has been robbed of one of its best players for too long now.

Even for those who don’t support Liverpool, it has been sad to see a player of Van Dijk’s quality missing for such a long time.
The 29-year-old only made five Premier League starts this season before Jordan Pickford ended his campaign with a crazy tackle at Goodison Park.
Since then, Liverpool’s No.4 has had no choice but to watch his teammates struggle, crashing out of all competitions while suffering some embarrassing defeats in the Premier League.

Unless the Reds go on a winning streak, it seems highly unlikely that they’ll be playing Champions League football next season as well.
Anyway, enough of the negatives.
Let’s see how the Liverpool fans reacted after watching Van Dijk’s 16-second video…
