Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after footage of Bryan Gil emerged, following the news that he’s set to arrive in N17.
What’s the story?
Well, as you may already know, Fabio Paratici has pulled off an incredible player-plus-cash deal for one of Europe’s most exciting talents.
Gil – a 20-year-old forward – will be arriving in north London in a deal worth £21.6m.
Erik Lamela will also head to La Liga as part of the transfer.
Swapping an injury prone 29-year-old, for a 3-cap Spain international with the world at his feet, seems like pretty good business to us.

Just by watching the footage below, Gil looks every inch like an old school footballer.
No nonsense, few tricks and flicks, but an incredible amount of natural ability.
The Spaniard displays a great turn of pace to beat players, and showed in the footage that he can go inside or outside his marker.
Ultimately, he seems to do the simple things very well. Dribbling, crossing, ball retention, and knowing what to do at the right time.
He will be a dream for Nuno Espirito Santo.
